Job Description

Woxsen University seeks a highly specialised faculty member in Sports Data Science & Performance Analytics to lead the analytics, AI, and technology-driven components of the B.Sc. in Sports Science program.
This is a purely academic and technical role, focused on teaching, labs, applied research, and student project supervision, with minimal administrative responsibilities.

Responsibilities

Teaching & Learning
Design and deliver advanced courses such as:
Sports Data Science & Python
Performance Analytics and Machine Learning
AI Applications in Talent Identification and Injury Prediction
Lead analytics laboratories, simulations, and data-driven projects.
Supervise capstone projects and industry-linked assignments.

Academic Innovation & Applied Research
Develop applied research and analytics use cases using real-world sports data.
Integrate wearable data, performance metrics, and predictive models into teaching.
Mentor students for careers in sports analytics, technology, and performance intelligence.

Required Skills

PhD or equivalent professional expertise in Sports Analytics Data Science AI Computer Science or a related field Demonstrated experience applying analytics or machine learning to sports or human performance contexts Strong hands-on capability with Python data modelling and performance datasets Ability to translate technical concepts into effective classroom instruction.
