Job Description

Woxsen University invites applications for a specialised academic role in Human Performance, Biomechanics & Sports Medicine, responsible for leading the biological and physiological core of the B.Sc. in Sports Science program.
This position focuses on teaching excellence, laboratory leadership, and applied performance science, without program-level administrative duties.

Responsibilities

Teaching & Laboratory Leadership
Teach core and advanced courses such as:
Exercise Physiology
Strength and Conditioning
Biomechanics and Motion Analysis
Injury Prevention and Recovery
Lead performance testing laboratories and practical sessions.
Supervise student projects related to performance optimisation and injury prevention.
Applied Science & Student Mentoring
Integrate wearable technology, motion capture, and physiological data into coursework.
Mentor students pursuing careers in sports performance, rehabilitation, and applied sports science.
Contribute to evidence-based practice and applied research initiatives.

Required Skills

PhD in Exercise Physiology Biomechanics Sports Medicine or a related discipline Experience working with performance labs athletes or clinical research environments Strong applied understanding of human performance measurement and analysis Demonstrated teaching and mentoring capability.
