Search for Bowlers – Special Initiative to Scout Fast Bowlers in Pune:
Through a joint effort by Spin and Swing Academy, Zorastrians Club, and Ashtapailu Sports, in collaboration with SML Ltd. and ASK Foundation, a special cricket camp called 'Search for Bowlers' has been organized to scout emerging fast bowlers in Pune.
This camp will be held at the cricket ground of L. R. Shinde High School. Fast bowlers participating in this camp will receive guidance from renowned experts.
For this, former Indian fast bowler Salil Ankola, Maharashtra's former top off-spinner Santosh Jedhe, former Mumbai Ranji Trophy player Anand Yalvigi, as well as former Maharashtra Ranji Trophy fast bowler Subhash Ranjane will be present to observe and guide the bowlers. Through this camp, the best fast bowlers in Pune will be selected.
From this selection process, the three best bowlers will be awarded scholarships.
These scholarships will provide financial assistance as well as free guidance from these experienced experts and mentorship will be provided.
Fast bowlers above the age of 15 will be eligible for the camp.
The date of birth of eligible players must be on or before 1 January 2011.
Entry to this camp is limited, and only 200 fast bowlers will be given the opportunity. Interested players should register as soon as possible.
