Job Description

Omtex ICWC Cricket Institute is looking for an accomplished and enthusiastic Batting Coach to guide young cricketers in their technical, tactical and mental development. The successful candidate will join a professional residential setup dedicated to building future champions.

Requirements
• Proven experience as a Batting Coach or competitive playing background as a batter.
• Strong knowledge of batting technique, game awareness and modern cricket formats.
• Relevant cricket coaching qualification or certification preferred.
• Ability to mentor young cricketers and adapt coaching to individual needs.
• Strong communication, planning and interpersonal skills.
• Willingness to work full-time and reside within the institute’s coaching environment.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver high-quality batting sessions for players at different stages of development.
• Improve players’ batting technique, footwork, shot selection, timing, power-hitting and running between wickets.
• Develop players’ understanding of game situations, innings construction and match strategy.
• Provide individual feedback, performance reviews and personalised development plans.
• Prepare batters for competitive matches, trials and tournaments.
• Work with the wider coaching and support team to strengthen players’ physical and mental readiness.
• Create a positive, disciplined and performance-driven learning environment.

Required Skills

Ability to coach and mentor young cricketers in a residential academy setting.
