About Football Coach Roles in India
Football coaching roles in India are expanding rapidly driven by ISL franchise investment, AIFF's "Mission XI Million" grassroots programme, and growing private football academies. Coaches are needed at all levels from grassroots (U8–U13), elite (ISL reserve squads), and school sports. Fitness coaches and goalkeeper-specific coaches are in particular demand.
Qualifications:
AIFF D Licence (entry level), AIFF C Licence (academy level), AIFF B Licence or AFC A Licence for senior club roles. SAI coaching certification also accepted.
