Job Description

Omtex ICWC Cricket Institute is inviting applications for a dedicated Spin Bowling Coach. This is an opportunity to shape emerging spin bowlers within a competitive residential cricket programme and support the institute’s mission of developing future champions.

Requirements
• Proven experience as a Spin Bowling Coach or a competitive spin-bowling background.
• Sound technical knowledge of off-spin, leg-spin and other spin-bowling variations.
• Relevant cricket coaching qualification or certification preferred.
• Ability to coach, motivate and mentor developing cricketers.
• Strong communication, planning and player-observation skills.
• Willingness to work full-time and reside within the institute’s coaching environment.

Responsibilities

• Conduct technical and tactical spin-bowling coaching sessions.
• Develop players’ grip, release, flight, turn, drift, control, variations and use of the crease.
• Train bowlers in match strategy, field-setting awareness and adapting to different game situations.
• Identify individual strengths and areas for improvement through regular assessment and feedback.
• Help players build confidence, consistency, discipline and tactical awareness.
• Collaborate with the wider coaching and support staff on player development plans.
• Prepare players for matches, trials and competitive tournaments.

Required Skills

Ability to coach and mentor young cricketers in a residential academy setting.
