Job Description

A leading sports academy is looking for qualified and enthusiastic Male and Female Swimming Coaches to be deputed to a school in Nagari, Tamil Nadu.
The selected candidates will conduct structured swimming coaching sessions for school students, develop their swimming techniques, improve water confidence, and promote physical fitness, discipline, and water safety.

Candidates must possess a valid swimming coaching certification and demonstrate the ability to deliver safe, engaging, and age-appropriate swimming sessions.

Responsibilities

• Conduct regular swimming coaching sessions for school students across different age groups.
• Teach fundamental swimming skills, including water confidence, floating, breathing techniques, and stroke development.
• Train students in various swimming strokes, including freestyle, backstroke, breaststroke, and butterfly, as appropriate to their skill levels.
• Design structured training programmes based on students' age, swimming ability, and fitness levels.
• Improve students' endurance, coordination, flexibility, and overall physical fitness.
• Conduct swimming drills and skill-development activities to improve technique and performance.
• Monitor student progress and provide individual guidance to help them improve.
• Identify talented swimmers and support their development for school-level competitions, wherever applicable.
• Ensure strict adherence to pool safety rules and swimming protocols.
• Maintain constant supervision of students during swimming sessions.
• Promote discipline, confidence, sportsmanship, and responsible behaviour around the pool.
• Maintain student attendance and training progress records.
• Coordinate with school representatives and the academy's management team to ensure the smooth delivery of swimming programmes.
• Follow the academy's coaching standards, school policies, and child safeguarding guidelines.
