Role Summary

The Senior Badminton Coach is responsible for delivering world-class coaching, mentoring junior coaches, ensuring curriculum implementation, maintaining coaching quality, driving player retention, and supporting business growth at the center. The role combines coaching excellence with leadership and operational responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities

Coaching & Player Development

* Conduct beginner, intermediate, and advanced coaching sessions.
* Deliver training as per the Machaxi standardized curriculum.
* Assess player performance and prepare development plans.
* Prepare students for internal and external tournaments.
* Ensure safe, engaging, and disciplined training sessions.

Team Leadership

* Mentor Junior Coaches and Assistant Coaches.
* Conduct coach observations and provide regular feedback.
* Ensure coaching SOPs are followed across all sessions.
* Support recruitment and onboarding of new coaches.

Operations

* Ensure 100% player attendance/check-ins.
* Maintain court discipline and equipment.
* Manage shuttle usage efficiently.
* Submit daily and weekly coaching reports.
* Coordinate with Center Manager and Associate Manager for smooth operations.

Parent & Customer Engagement

* Build strong relationships with parents.
* Conduct Parent-Teacher Meetings (PTMs).
* Share regular player progress updates.
* Handle customer concerns professionally.

Business Growth

* Convert trial classes into paid enrollments.
* Support summer camps, tournaments, and special programs.
* Improve student retention through quality coaching.
* Assist in achieving monthly revenue targets.

Eligibility

* Minimum 5+ years of badminton coaching experience.
* Experience coaching players of different age groups.
* BWF/NIS or equivalent coaching certification preferred.
* State/National playing experience is an added advantage.
* Strong leadership and communication skills.
