SPORTS VENUE EXECUTIVE

About the Role
We are looking for an energetic and customer-focused Sports Venue Executive to manage the day-to-day activities at our IPS Indirapuram sports venue.
The ideal candidate should be comfortable interacting with customers, parents, students and coaches, handling bookings and payments, coordinating sports sessions and ensuring that the venue remains organized and operational throughout the day.
This is a hands-on role and is ideal for someone who is energetic, responsible and enjoys working in a sports environment.
Key Responsibilities
1. Daily Venue Operations
* Ensure the venue is ready before the start of daily operations.
* Monitor courts, turf, equipment, lights and other facilities.
* Ensure cleanliness and basic upkeep of the venue.
* Follow venue opening, closing and operational checklists.
* Report maintenance or facility-related issues to the Venue Manager.
2. Customer Handling
* Welcome and assist customers visiting the venue.
* Handle customer enquiries regarding bookings, memberships, academy programs and facilities.
* Coordinate court/turf bookings and ensure proper slot allocation.
* Assist customers with payments, registrations and other requirements.
* Handle basic customer complaints and escalate unresolved matters to the Venue Manager.
* Maintain a positive and professional customer experience.
3. Academy & Coach Coordination
* Coordinate with coaches regarding daily sessions and batch timings.
* Ensure coaches and students are informed about schedule changes.
* Maintain student attendance and session records.
* Assist in smooth execution of academy sessions.
* Coordinate with parents and students when required.
4. Bookings & Payments
* Manage daily bookings and ensure accurate slot allocation.
* Maintain booking records and payment status.
* Collect payments where required and maintain proper transaction records.
* Follow up on pending payments as instructed.
* Ensure no unauthorized or unrecorded bookings take place.
5. Venue Discipline & Safety
* Ensure customers and players follow venue rules.
* Monitor appropriate use of sports equipment and facilities.
* Report any damage, accident, safety concern or unusual incident immediately.
* Help maintain a safe and disciplined sporting environment.
6. Sales & Customer Engagement
* Explain academy programs, memberships and available facilities to prospective customers.
* Assist with new student registrations and renewals.
* Encourage repeat bookings and customer engagement.
* Support venue-level promotional and marketing activities.
7. Reporting
* Maintain daily attendance, booking, payment and operational records.
* Share daily updates with the Venue Manager.
* Maintain inventory and report shortages or damages.
* Complete assigned operational checklists and reports.
What We Are Looking For
* Good communication and interpersonal skills.
* Friendly and customer-oriented personality.
* Basic computer knowledge and familiarity with Excel/Google Sheets.
* Strong sense of responsibility and punctuality.
* Ability to coordinate with multiple people simultaneously.
* Willingness to work evenings, weekends and holidays as required.
* Interest in sports is preferred.
* Prior experience in sports, hospitality, customer service, gym, academy or venue operations will be an advantage.

Compensation
Salary: ₹17,000–₹20,000 per month, depending on experience and capability
Additional:Performance incentives may be offered based on individual and venue performance.
