Job Description

CYDA is looking for a passionate and qualified Martial Arts Coach to join its sports development team and help young athletes build discipline, confidence, fitness and strong martial arts fundamentals.

Ideal Candidate:
# Certified/qualified Martial Arts Coach with relevant coaching experience.
# Strong knowledge of martial arts techniques, training methodologies and safety practices.
# Experience working with children or young athletes is preferred.
# Energetic, disciplined, patient and passionate about developing young talent.
# Good communication and interpersonal skills.
# Coaches from disciplines such as Karate, Taekwondo, Judo, Kickboxing, Wushu or other recognised martial arts are encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

Conduct engaging and structured martial arts training sessions for children and young athletes.
Develop age-appropriate training programs focused on technique, fitness, discipline and self-defence.
Identify and nurture sporting talent and support athletes in their development.
Maintain a safe, positive and motivating training environment.
Track participants’ progress and provide constructive feedback.
Prepare athletes for competitions, demonstrations and other sporting activities, where applicable.
