Job Description

Conducted in association with the Municipal Corporation of Delhi (MCD) and the Sports Infrastructure & Talent Development Society (SITDS), The MCD Delhi Mini League 2026 is a grassroots football initiative aimed at promoting football among boys and girls in the Under-9 and Under-11 age groups across Delhi. The league brings together football clubs, teams, residential communities, parents, coaches, officials, sponsors and other stakeholders.

Project Dates: MCD Delhi Mini League 2026, with league activities scheduled for 24–31 October 2026.

This is an opportunity for students to gain practical experience in sports management, event operations, marketing, digital media, content creation and community engagement while contributing to a grassroots sports initiative.

KEY REQUIREMENTS:
• Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Interest in football, sports management or sports administration.
• Comfortable communicating with clubs and academies.
• Basic knowledge of MS Excel or Google Sheets is an advantage.
• Proactive attitude and willingness to take ownership of assigned tasks.

Responsibilities

• Identify football clubs and academies across Delhi and develop a comprehensive database.
• Contact clubs through telephone calls, WhatsApp and email to introduce the league.
• Explain the league format, registration process and participation requirements.
• Follow up with clubs to facilitate onboarding and registrations.
• Maintain accurate club registration records and update onboarding status.
• Coordinate with the project team to support club participation.
