Job Description

The MCD Delhi Mini League 2026 is a grassroots football initiative aimed at promoting football among boys and girls in the Under-9 and Under-11 age groups across Delhi.

Conducted in association with the Municipal Corporation of Delhi (MCD) and the Sports Infrastructure & Talent Development Society (SITDS), the league brings together football clubs, teams, residential communities, parents, coaches, officials, sponsors and other stakeholders.

This is an opportunity for students to gain practical experience in sports management, event operations, marketing, digital media, content creation and community engagement while contributing to a grassroots sports initiative.

Eligibility: Students pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree
Project Dates: MCD Delhi Mini League 2026, with league activities scheduled for 24–31 October 2026.

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Interest in community engagement, sports or event management.
• Ability to communicate professionally with Residents Welfare Association representatives.
• Willingness to participate in outreach and field activities.
• Basic knowledge of MS Excel or Google Sheets is an advantage.
• Organised, proactive and comfortable working in a team.

Responsibilities

• Identify Resident Welfare Associations (RWAs) and residential communities across Delhi.
• Build and maintain a database of RWA representatives.
• Contact RWAs to introduce the league and explain participation opportunities.
• Support community-level outreach and follow-up activities.
• Maintain accurate onboarding and communication records.
• Coordinate with the project team to facilitate Residents Welfare Association participation.
